Happy me 🤩 I collected linden blossoms… Did you know that you can also eat the leaves raw in salads when they're young and juicy? Later in the year, you can juice the leaves or use them in smoothies. A soothing tea can be made from the blossoms… for example, for a sensitive stomach, colds, fever, etc. And the small dried buds can be eaten like nuts.
And do you know why linden trees are often planted in the center of villages and at crossroads? Disputes were once settled under a linden tree; under a linden tree, relief and reconciliation is found.
(In German the name of the linden tree makes even more sense)
