Oh shit. I left coolr.chat running overnight the amount of activity has slowed it to a crawl! 😱 I need to do some optimizations. Hang tight. If anyone has any issues you can go to settings and clear site data.

coolr.chat talking over Geohash channels!

@jack @calle Ive been playing around with bitchat and the new Geohash stuff. Really cool. Im actually going to add support for these ephemeral chats in my coolr.chat app. However, I did want to point out something that people should be aware of. When chatting via Geohash, you should be careful if you are chatting in more precise Geohash locations. For instance, if you select the "block" Geohash, someone could easily be monitoring relays for kind 20000 and get a pretty good idea of where you are with a simple Geohash lookup. Just something the people should be aware of.

ngl, Apples new visual updates look awesome. This is one of my main reasons for building my Apple platform apps using mostly standard components. Along with feeling completely at home to the user, you get these updates for free!

Alright, back to Seer! I abandoned my effort for trying to build it with Tauri/SvelteKit. Web tech + rust is just to overly complicated for me. Maybe Im just not smart enough. I decided on doing a re-write of my SwiftUI project. This will allow me to hit all apple platforms. Im going back to my UX goal of keeping it as true to the native platform as possible. It should feel like an apple app on their platforms. Im going for a "mail" like experience. I also re-wrote the local data store using LMDB+Flatbuffers and wow. It's so much faster than SwiftData. It's night and day. Here's a sneak peak. Its still very early, but I feel very good about this re-write.

Had fun building Coolr, but hoping back over to Seer (nip-29 chat). Experimenting with re-writing using Sveltekit/Tauri that way I can release on all platforms. Linux/Mac/Windows.
