Got my extra Bitkey wallets in today. They were on sale for $25 last week. Bought 4 of them to give to family members. Bitkey is really a great introductory wallet.
Thanks @jack
Gm Nostr! Please follow myself and @seer for updates on Seer development!
Booked flights for Nashville!
Any fellow nostr devs going? Where are you guys staying?
Gm Nostr!
Had a much needed date night with the wife last night!

I had a revelation yesterday afternoon. I was going back over nip29 and trying to make sense of kind 10,11. They are described as "This is the basic unit of a microblog root text note sent to a group." and threaded version. This confused me, however after speaking with @fiatjaf I realized the more accurate meaning which as that kind 10/11 are meant to facilitate what we know as a forum. Wow! This is an amazing discovery to me. Not only does nip29 bring support for simple chat groups, but also groups which have threaded forum posts. I absolutely love this and am more excited about nip29 than ever before!
Today is gonna be an off day for me as I spend time with the family, but when I get back I will be integrating this forum functionality into Seer. Cheers everyone!
Some progress on the sidebar. Added relay image and also an area for the currently selected account(key). Also Seer respects light/dark mode 😉

At dinner last night with my wife we were talking about a guy that I worked with years ago at Microsoft. He hired me which kickstarted my career in software development. He was a cool guy with a big heart. My friend just text'd me that he passed away this morning.
It's wild how are brains work. I hadn't talked to or thought about him for quite some time.
GM Nostr! Ready to roll 🙏👨💻

I’m excited to share more about what I’m building and why. My project is Seer, a consumer-friendly, NIP-29 enabled application that's native to Apple platforms. Why Apple first? That's where my expertise lies. I believe the Nostr ecosystem needs more apps that are intuitive for newcomers while delivering exceptional performance and leveraging the latest platform features.
Seer will concentrate on NIP-29 relay-based group communications. I'm staying focused on making group interactions seamless and efficient, without trying to encompass all of Nostr's capabilities. This approach echoes what @jack pointed out a while back about the value of "micro apps" — tools that do one thing exceptionally well.
Additionally, Seer will be powered by my Swift Nostr libraries, Nostr and NostrClient. While there are some excellent options out there, I plan to develop and adapt these libraries specifically to fit Seer’s needs. This doesn't mean they can’t be used for other Nostr projects, but my primary goal is to ensure they serve Seer’s requirements optimally and conveniently.
I'm looking forward to bringing Seer into your hands and making Nostr even more accessible to everyone. Stay tuned!Nip-29 is on the horizon, promising to reduce our reliance on group communication tools like Slack and Telegram.
I envision it as a straightforward and user-friendly solution, including the deployment of a Nip-29 relay. With Nip-29, you’ll be able to join relays to discuss topics that interest you. Moderation features will be available, allowing for the possibility of being banned. However, this isn’t a significant issue—if your voice isn’t welcomed somewhere, you can easily set up your own relay with your preferred groups. This process will be accessible to users of all experience levels.
This is the driving force behind Seer. I’m starting with native apps for Apple platforms because I believe that using platform-specific tools and frameworks yields the best results. My goal is to create applications that seamlessly integrate with the platform they run on.
Stay tuned for updates—Seer development is progressing well.
Thinking about streaming development on Seer. I’ve never streamed before. How should I get started? Zap.stream? Twitch? Both?
😅
Maybe I’m connected to the wrong relays or maybe what I post isn’t interesting, but it feels like I’m posting int a black hole. 😅
Does anyone know of any C# nostr libraries that support pow events / keys?
For some reason snort not showing me as nip05 verified. Anyone know why?
Here’s what I have set, seems right.

#[0] what does "delete account" do on damus? I wanted to remove my account from the app and I did this, but now when I try to add it back it says "deleted account, logout" 😢
