Quick note on Memorial Day: a sincere thank you to all the brave souls who fought and died for this beautiful country, and to those who still fight today. When it comes to supporting our troops, it doesn’t matter to me if the wars were “justified.” The men who went out there and volunteered to pay the ultimate price to keep the rest of us safe are fucking heroes. They didn’t have all the information, none of us ever do, but they volunteered to die all the same. They are patriots and heroes. Fuck the war-mongering politicians who sent our men into the shit for perverted reasons, but THANK YOU to the men who put their lives on the line because they love America and the American people. You are the best among us. You need to be able to separate the men who fight with courage, valor, and love for their families in their hearts from the spineless politicians who concoct the wars.
