Nostr's CHURN is brutal. Losing almost every new user in a week. It's not that no one comes on, despite that being way less easy than it should be, it's that they just don't stick around. Not everybody wants to talk about Bitcoin or clawdbots or nips. We need to onboard new communities, which is a harder problem. If client devs want to make that happen, they need to build apps for whole groups of people who aren't here. One idea is a killer dev stack for general software development. Git, CI, builds, supply chain, etc. ? (Shout out @GitCitadel.) Maybe online marketplaces? What other things could we go after that are NOT ABOUT Nostr or Bitcoin or bots?

A joke about time. Bill, do you know of any sections of this four dimensional space-time continuum which represent "now" objectively? No, at least not at the present time. ----- From David Lynch's comic strip "Angriest Dog in the World" Funny to me on so many levels. ... Or at least it is "now" ๐Ÿ•œ @Jack K @Neal @PlebNick image

Evil progresses one compromise at a time. Motte and bailey. Inch by inch. Do not choose the lesser evil. Do not accept temporary retreat, incomplete victory, or limited hangout. Stable coins are not better than CBDC. Age checks not better than digital ID. Spam is not better than shitcoins. One is just a step to the other. No motte, no bailey. Stack Bitcoin. Hold your own keys. Run knots with 110.
