Every time I touch Github, my account gets flagged now. Nobody can/will tell me why. This is akin to some twisted, discouraging game of red light/green light, where the whole point is to make you quit the game. I'm stubborn, but this is frustrating. 😅

One of those sunsets worth sharing. I scared a little fox, watched the beavers swim, the fish jump, and listened to the coyotes howl. A doe brought her fawns out of the brush for the evening. I've been weaving in and out of Henry David Thoreau's writings this week. My thoughts wandered to the friends who make the latitudes and longitudes. I like to believe gratitude fills some of that space.

Pressing flowers ought to be done on an interesting page.

This week, I smoked a loin of Canadian bacon, 12 lbs of venison jerky (plus the nasty goose), and made 10lbs of this sausage. I left out the lime & brown sugar, and added curry powder & shallots. I also swapped out the serranos for my garden's jalapeños & doubled them 😅 I have no idea how this will be... hopefully still spicy.
