I used to have a very close friend who moved away to a different country a few years ago, we talk every few months, I used to be so excited for his calls, but now it's more of a chore. He's become very FIAT. Not necessarily in his economic choices, and we never talk about economics, but in his manner, his outlook towards the world, his tastes, there's nothing I could do or say that can change that, so we just talk about random stuff for a while and hang up.
