The internet started with a bunch of altruistic corps that ended up monopolising resources and going bad, Twitter, Facebook, Spotify etc. Corps operating in nostr are strong-armed into behaving by the paradigm of NIPs sharing data.

Nostr is less engaging than Twitter. This is a feature. The death cult eyeball hooks that keep you doom scrolling for hrs on corporate platforms just don't exist in nostr. You hop on, check in, read a few interesting posts, then hop off and go touch grass 👌

Nostr is as good as the client you access it with. I've said it before and I'll say it again, those complaints people have about "nostr" are usually client issues, which I simply never have as an Amethyst user. Amethyst really is a phenomenal client 😍
