Corechain is so frickin spammy. It is proof-of-sloth on the part of the devs.

Can freedom be removed from a generation's conciousness?

The social contract is - a violent minority steals from us less than what it would cost us to defend ourselves from them

AI is just a file running on a cpu
I actually took the plunge and got a GPU for local AI. It's just a starter but will replace the equivalent of about 5 different jobs I have tried to staff for 15 years and eventually to fire all 12 of them for lack of performance or dishonesty - and do it myself - which one could imagine puts so much burden on my day that very little has been getting done.
These tasks simply can't be done with cloud AI because of privacy/secrecy requirements; such as financial data, timecards and project status reports. With a minimal investment of $1000 into a 10 year old gaming PC, that constraint goes away, and has the potential of being expanded by 3x within the same chassis by adding two more cards.
Amazing all those mid-skill jobs, about $350,000/yr of payroll is all replaced by one $750 GPU and about $1/day of electricity. The ironic thing is, if I hadn't had to fire them, I wouldn't even try to replace them with a computer. I would have asked them to automate their repetitive tasks and then found other things for them to do. I don't feel even the slightest bit of guilt about it either - their egos stood in the way the whole time and it held both of us back.
AI is no longer a toy. AI is becoming a utility.
