Two of my daughters want me to hold some of their xmas money in dollars for them instead of Bitcoin because they think its going down before they want to spend it. I don't want to hold onto paper money, so I'm making a solution that I think solves the general problem that everyone has when dealing with the btc-skeptical yet privacy conscious. But a solution that providee a direct route to sell the fiat for Bitcoin when the time is right for them.

What is the lightning fee policy on @Minibits mint? It seems that lightning transactions over a certain amount within the mint are charging 2%, even if it's an invoice from the mint and paid by the same mint. I see lightning invoices 1000sats or less aren't being charged a fee. @npub1hv64...rjjm

I talked with a friend today. He was asking for advice about a girlfriend. I never met her, but he said just one innocuous one thing and I concluded it needed to end. After an hour of talking, he admitted he was basically done with her. During the course of the conversion, I reminded him of basic biological facts about men and women, such as women want two things: To be secure and provided for, and to have children; and men really only want two things out of a woman - children that look like him and an orderly house. If theyl woman doesen't want either of those things, there is something wrong with her and you should probably move on. In the end I told him to make three lists: requirements, red flags, and dealbreakers. I fully expect him to go back to her and avoid me until they break up over something else. 🤷‍♂️
