"I'm here, from the government, and I'm here to help." Twenty five years ago, in the state of Minnesota, a friend of mine had 4 children. An older boy from a deceased mother, about 15; and with the current wife, two girls, 5 and 7, and a baby boy 18 months. His oldest boy became violent, as boys do at that age, and resentful of his step mother and younger siblings. He would torment the younger girls and even hurt them, as older boys sometimes do. There was a day when he crossed the line and, who knows what really happened,.but the boy and the 7 year old were fighting and chasing around the house and the girl fell and broke her arm. My friend, the father, brought the family to the hospital and of course the mandated reporter nurses and doctors began to ask questions. The father told the truth, and the boy admitted to causing the break. This was the beginning of sorrows. The doctor made a recommendation to the father to "seek help" from "family services" with the boys "anger." The doctor made a report to the county suspecting the parents were violent in the home. And the father did, thinking maybe he can resolve the conflict and bring prace. The boy spoke to CPS councelors and they asked to speak with the older girl. They were not interested in resolving disputes, they were out for blood. The girl, of course, exaggerated wanting the boy to "get in more trouble". In the end, the boy became worse, more angry, and more violent, and there was another incident. The CPS workers took the girls and the baby boy from the family and left the oldest boy with the parents. The girls were separated and put in foster "care." The younger girl given to a Mormon household who abused her and older girl and baby boy were given to a lesbian couple. The baby boy had respiratory problems after his vaccinations. He had an autoimmune problem and constant sinus infections. He required a nebulizer next to his bed while he slept, or he would stop breathing. The lesbian caretakers were neglectful. The older sister would make sure his nebulizer was in operating condition. One day the girl was taken away for a school activity, and there was a problem returning to her brother before he went to sleep. She returned to the house to find her bedroom door was locked, it had a key. It was not unusual for the doors to become locked, given kids play with these things, so she asked to open the door. The women would not open the door. She yelled "my brother needs his nebulizer". The women did not respond. Then the smoke alarms went off. 20 children made it out alive, one did not. The house burned to the ground. The father spent the rest of his life telling his story. This is how I met him. The state never returned his two girls. He was never allowed to see them again. They later returned to him after they became adults and told him of the sexual abuse they suffered and the lies they told them about their parents. The state is not your friend.

Nobody owes me shit, and I owe nothing to anyone accept those close to me. I never had anything coming and I never had anything given to me for free. Fuck you if you think I owe you anything just because you won't work as hard as I do.
