Thailand will host the world’s first Bitcoin Ultra Marathon in the mountains of Northern Thailand from September 25 to 27, 2026, creating massive exposure and awareness for Bitcoin.

We also recently launched a weekly Thai language live Bitcoin news show to help Thai audiences learn and stay informed every Wednesday at 6pm.

Educating people about Bitcoin in Thailand is still very much a work in progress, it requires sustained, long-term effort. Here we are at the university again this week.

Thailand Bitcoiners built a software tool that lets high schools and universities teach how Bitcoin works by simulating mining blocks, how mining works and how transactions flow. This test-net environment is a powerful demonstration without having to wait or experience fees or fear losses while experimenting and learning.

One of the most impressive Bitcoin education tools we have ever seen was shared with us today by Thai developers who are Bitcoiners and community leaders. Still in its earliest stage before any pitch deck or business model, yet already showing rare clarity and purpose. This is what real grassroots innovation looks like.

Today (Christmas Day), The Bitcoin Learning Center had a great conversation with both Deputy Mayors at the PAO office about our major educational events planned for 2026. We are grateful for their support and encouragement as we move forward.
