The worst thing you can do to yourself when you make a mistake is what I call self annihilation mentally (basically going scorched earth on yourself for messing up yet again and connecting it to everything else you have messed up on and using it as an evaluation of your worth) I did this to myself growing up and even some in my teens and early 20's. The best thing you can do is realize you messed up fight on to do better, life isn't gonna magically get better with you destroying yourself mentally after each little mistake. Something I wish I would have told myself at a much younger age.

What is really sad is that people can't take their eyes off of politics long enough to address the issues they actually do have control over in their real life. Politics isn't in your control and politics is a lie, your life is the only thing you have any meaningful control over, act accordingly.

Hitler is dead and he wasn't the only evil dude to ever live, Stalin, Lenin, Pol Pot, Mao Ze Dong come to mind. Further back in history has some pretty horrible people as well. This hyper fixation on Hitler is odd. It seems to be that Hitler got labeled as far-right even though he was a socialist (which last time I checked isn't a right wing idea but whatever) and because of that the left has controlled the narrative and said right equals Hitler, while ignoring anyone who in history has any label that is left leaning. I don't think evil is a left wing or right wing thing to be clear, I think evil has its own two wings.
