Why doesn't Keychat directly support relay-based unencrypted groups in Chat?
Large-scale public groups without end-to-end encryption are a different type of application, similar to Discord or forums with a chat interface.
Keychat is designed for small-scale, end-to-end encrypted private groups, where most members are friends rather than strangers.
Therefore, Keychat will indirectly support relay-based groups instead of mixing them with encrypted groups, which would cause confusion. View quoted note →

Correction: Nostr relays only store text and do not store images; they only store links to images. View quoted note →
Podcasting is the most widely used application of the RSS protocol.
After creating a podcast episode, the creator uploads it to the hosting provider's server, which hosts and distributes the content by generating an RSS feed for the creator. The creator then submits the RSS feed URL to certain podcast platforms, such as Apple Podcasts.
Other podcast players can discover the RSS feed through podcast indexes—sourced via user submissions or web crawling—and then automatically fetch episodes via the feed.
In this way, Nostr is to text and images what Podcasting is to audio, providing decentralized distribution tailored to its medium.

Then why did SimpleX Chat previously only have 1-time invitation links, and now it has added the SimpleX contact address?
What exactly is the SimpleX contact address?
Does it count as an ID? Or does it not?
If Keychat named its features like SimpleX Chat, it would look like this?👇
