#Homeowner tip as a newbie: shop around for as much as you possibly can on things like your mortgage loan and homeowners insurance. Shopping around for a mortgage loan is quite common, so I’m not saying much there. I did this though, and it worked out well. Obviously good credit is critical - you have to play that game. But the main tactic I employed is to get an official rate with all the terms and details laid out from at least two lenders. Take whichever has a better rate (call it lender 1), share it with lender 2 and ask them if they can match or beat it. Most of the time, they do. Then take lender 2’s loan offer and ask lender 1 if they can beat it. Rinse and repeat as needed. You can also try to lower costs outside of just the interest rate like mortgage insurance or free refinancing in the future. Employing a similar tactic for homeowners insurance allowed me to reduce my bill by over 55%.

Hey @Rusty , have you ever analyzed the effects of at-home bitcoin miners with respect to nnEMFs? As I am considering dabbling in a casual home mining setup, I wonder about the health trade offs and/or solutions.
