I bought a house!
Before my fellow bitcoiners give me the talk about monetary premiums, real estate not being a good investment, and the market on the precipice of collapse, hear me out.
1. I didn’t and won’t sell any bitcoin for my expenses. I’ve only been selling stocks so far as needed. It actually feels good to pull away from Blackrock-related funds and decrease my fiat investments.
2. I will be able to reap short-term and long-term tax benefits of house ownership.
3. This is not an investment. This is my home! I can finally buy a big freezer for half a cow and lots of ice cream haha. I can create a garden, build a sauna, or buy a big safe. I can start making a space my own.
4. It’s in a nice area and I got it for a deal IMO. This reduces risk of losing equity of the market does decide to crash. It’s also near family which is important to me.
All that being said, I’m excited! Even if it doesn’t work out, it will be a learning experience and plenty of fun along the way.

Beat them at their own game and then create a new game that is righteous and just.
In order to awaken, a sufficient stimulus is require — some failure in the matrix, commonly related to health or wealth. In my case, it was health that woke me up.
Might sound kinda corny but this is what’s on my mind lately.
Finding ways to approach every hardship as a lesson to prepare me for better world to come. Transmuting fear and control into love and joy. Giving selflessly with faith that what I give will come back in multiples. Reminding myself of a world with abundance when the money supply is scarce. Imagining how good things can get. Conquering the mind to bend reality toward a better world.
Thank you @Jeff Booth for sharing such deep frameworks.

If unsure about a decision, when do you end the search for wisdom and guidance, and just make the decision?
I wonder if sometimes we can only find what’s right for us by making decisions and learning from our mistakes.

What exactly happens that could cause job data to be so wrong? Significant levels of revisions make me question the mechanisms (and ofc incentives) in place.

Jello made from just orange juice and gelatin. I’ve found this is a great way to have a quick snack to boost vitamin C and also get some gelatin which is great for skin.
