Felt like drafting an entirely fictional story today: Shortly before his FIRST DAY IN OFFICE a political world leader and his wife sit down behind the wheels of two very shitty cars. Some buddies built them over night using fairly new tech they barely understand. We’re set in a time where most people have never seen a car in their lives. The two start their engines, loud noise echoes far and wide. They step on the gas, drive around and focus on running over as many people as they can in a short amount of time. The two know their crappy vehicles would fall apart quickly, that’s why they move very fast. A lot of blood in the streets. However, they are not worried about any backlash once noise falls into silence. Why not? Well, believe it or not but there is one type of car that has been driving around the block for over a decade never hurting anyone. Nobody knows who built the initial design, but it is somehow maintained by thousands who don’t even know each other. This car also has a bunch of influential fans. You might think they would will be furious with what happened on the streets, however there is little to no outcry from their camp. Many of them have only one interest: personal wealth. They think it doesn’t really matter if shitty cars will kill many more people. They know selling shitty cars that come and go will make prices for the great car surge in the long run. Some of them even believe road rage king will promote the great car so they supported him on his path into office. They for themselves will live long lives. Many other’s won’t. The office formerly known as presidency is known as head of sales from this day on. Executives remain mostly unknown and their true intentions slowly unfold over decades to come. In this story: Cars could have become save to use for anyone, but it never happens. Cars could have been owned by anyone, but it never happens. Cars could have revolutionized travel worldwide, but it never happens. -> If you already own a great car and believe such stories should come true, midday today in MERICA is your time to clap and cheer.
