Germany is persecuting anyone who dares to criticize officials on the Internet. The UK is imprisoning thousands for their tweets. France is criminally investigating tech leaders who defend freedom and privacy. A dark, dystopian world is approaching fast — while we’re asleep. Our generation risks going down in history as the last one that had freedoms — and allowed them to be taken away. We’ve been fed a lie. We’ve been made to believe that the greatest fight of our generation is to destroy everything our forefathers left us: tradition, privacy, sovereignty, the free market, and free speech. By betraying the legacy of our ancestors, we’ve set ourselves on a path toward self-destruction — moral, intellectual, economic, and ultimately biological. So no, I’m not going to celebrate today. In Nostr there is no catchy handle that can identify a user. The npub is simply too long to remember. That makes the name and icon that a person the key way we identify account while scrolling the timeline. Both of these are changeable. But changing them can make people not recognize you. But that is exactly what I am going to do. Originally this account was supposed to be my secret account. An account that cannot be traced to who I am. But managing two accounts is becoming too much of a headache. I am turning this account into my primary account. It won't change much. You might see more posts in #hebrew . More talk about internal Israeli politics. I am sure you will survive. My plan is to gradually change the profile name and icon. Gradually so that it won't look like a totaly different profile in one shot. I am hoping that the gradual change will help retain this profiles identity in the minds of those who follow me here. Bibi understands that the second part of the agreement with Hamas will never happen. Hamas will never give up its arms just like Hizballah is not giving up its arms. Bibi is hoping that once the hostages will return the internal pressure will go down. The demonstrations against him demanding he act to release the hostages will quiet down. He will be able to continue the war with Hamas with more support. He is wrong. The Left is working by the Alinski rules for radicals. The motivation behind the demonstrations was never to release the hostages. It was always about power. Giving the organizers more power. The hostages was just an excuse to get the masses organized. Once the hostages will return the purposely vague mission of the demonstration will change. The target will be still to remove the Likud (Bibi) from power. With the Left it's never about the goals.
