The next big print Bitcoin will melt faces. The ETF changed bitcoins reaction to prints forever. Pre etf the beneficiaries of the cantillion effect aren’t getting their money and buying bitcoin on cashapp. They’re old money boomers who couldn’t fathom self custody. They will absolutely buy the bitcoin ETFs though

Any bill/order/mandate/whatever that dictates when and how much any government body buys bitcoin is moronic and should fail Imagine telling the world you’re going to buy X amount of bitcoin over the next decade and allowing everyone else to front run you and profit. Zero IQ thinking That being said every government should buy bitcoin

What hardcore chart guys don’t understand is it’s never going to be different this time until bitcoin becomes mainstream. The following didn’t care last cycle: Countries States Public companies Pensions Wealth management companies That’s like 99% of all wealth in the world that now has bitcoin on the radar. It won’t be different until it is and then it’ll be too late and every model will be laughable. Oh and btw Bitcoin was the world’s best performing asset before those guys cared about it.

You can tell when a liberal has never spent time out of their gated community when they think everyone in low income neighborhoods is actively doing everything they can to get out lol truth is most are perfectly fine collecting that check from Uncle Sam and enjoying zero responsibility

How does fiat survive once bitcoin reaches a point where it equals or overtakes it as a medium of exchange? If we’re being honest it’s easier, as of now, to tap my card than it is to pay via lightning or any other layer two, but that’ll probably change as the tech improves. It’s already more durable, just as divisible, just as portable, and a better store of value. Once paying in bitcoin is as easy as tapping my card there’s literally zero reason to use fiat. In the same way there’s zero peso demand in the US because the dollar is objectively better there will be zero dollar demand because bitcoin is objectively better. I’m not saying it happens anytime soon, but eventually fiat dies because there’s no longer any demand for it.

None of these lightning wallet or ecash wallets just work. That’s why zaps suck. I don’t care if it works 80% of the time if it’s not like 99%+ most people just won’t use it (WoS please come back to 🇺🇸 we miss you)

Anyone else notice how every restaurant is just the same now? Margins are too tight to survive if you don’t get the cheapest ingredients so everyone is forced to buy from the same few dominant producers who have the scale to provide a restaurant with ingredients for cheap. Everyone’s getting the same Sysco truck rolling in every morning to drop off the same meat the same potatoes the same bread every other restaurant in town is getting. The margins are too thin for them to spend on higher quality ingredients and remain profitable. That’s why everything at similar price levels tastes the same regardless of where you go. It also forces small family owned businesses to close their doors because they can’t run as efficiently as major chains. Consumers being forced to tighten the belt on discretionary spending is also forcing centralization in the same direction because everyone’s just looking for the cheapest meal. Sad tbh but gm #coffeechain

Great episode of @TFTC. Enough of the exhausting macro talk we already know where this train leads and how to get off of it. I’m going to puke if I hear another hour long rambling about the bond markets. We need more deep discussions around the future like this.
