We should name earthquakes the way we name hurricanes. Since this #earthquake was at 10:48am EST, we should call it #CoffeePoopQuake

@PABLOF7z I'm trying to run the new highlighter repo locally, and I'm getting this error when I try to run the dev build of /apps/web: error An unexpected error occurred: "https://registry.yarnpkg.com/@kind0%2fui-common: Not found". I assume it's referring to "@kind0/ui-common": "workspace:^" in the devDependencies, thoughts on what's going on?

uhhh is it just a weird coincidence that Zuckerberg's bridged Threads account on Nostr has an npub with "jew" in it? 😂 image

Don’t get me wrong, Damus is great, but it feels like the app slogan should be “the social network you control…as long as you’re connected to wss://relay.damus.io” View quoted note →

What this shows is just how big of an impact there is from @npub18m76...q955 not implementing NIP-65. It’s by far the most popular nostr client on iOS, and until it implements NIP-65, nostr will continue to operate under this “must connect to a few huge centralized relays to get a proper experience” situation. That kind of nostr is *marginally* better than Mastodon when it comes to being decentralized. View quoted note →

Do any clients support NIP-95 (uploading/loading images directly to/from relays) besides Amethyst?
