GM I need some new book recs !!!!!
Many of the books I’ve read this year have been written by someone with a nostr account. I enjoy that. You all write very well.
So I need more books that will make my brain tweak.
I hope to write my own book in the next few years. When the time is right.

First time using a lil pottery wheel. Refuse to look up instructions. This is extremely fun and therapeutic. I made an oyster plate. It’s not very good, but it will look better glazed and when it has 8 oysters on it😂🦪
Life is funny when some people’s milestones are literally your worst nightmare.
i.e. my friends just bought their first (insanely overpriced, new build, cookie cutter, shitty fake materials) house in suburbia backrooms (real nature nowhere to be found, lots of asphalt definitely can’t take shoes off anywhere), but close to highways and corporate strip malls.
Nah I’m fr happy yall are happy!
I’ve been eating raw eggs for like a year at this point, I forget how much it terrifies most people.
The easiest highest quality transportable food to bring somewhere is raw milk with raw eggs and honey.
People really just need to grow up.
July always feels like I’m here but I’m not here.
Cancer season be like that.
Into the shell.
The womb, the nest.
I’ve always disliked July.
(Relative to other months of the year)
It feels very inwards.
But that’s the opposite energy of what people expect peak summer to be.
It feels elusive and watery.
Way too hot and humid.
Sedating.
July has always been a weird time for me.
Patterns of loss, endings, cycle completions, reflection, retreat, emotional questions.
Cancer governs:
Containment, home, protection, nourishment, mothers, retreat, rest
fluids, tides, lymphatic system, water balance, chest/breasts, stomach/digestion.
Ruled by the Moon- fertility, rhythms, fluctuating fluids, inner world, emotions.
My Cancer Season Musts:
Writing a lot (get it all out of your head)
Cold nettle leaf tea infusions all day (supports kidney function, fluid retention, lymphatic system, & lots of minerals)
Coconut water (potassium af)
Dry Brushing (self care lymphatic drainage)
Legs up the wall (lymphatic drainage)
Rose water spray (cooling face toner)
Cooling watery foods- cucumber, tomato, MELONS, actually all fruit
Sleep well, dream vividly
Not overworking or overheating myself
August is my favorite month though, Leo season makes up for the Cancer puffy withdrawal.
The feeling of home is in the quality of thought and depth of conversation.
Beautiful thinkers are harder to find than beautiful places.
I love when people are direct.
Say what they think, tell people how they feel. Ask for answers they need.
It’s an unafraidness, a confidence.
It’s not wanting to waste time.
An unattachment to responses.
Just honest expression.
A lot of people could benefit from being more direct.
Ya know I never say thank you to the internet. Because it’s one of those love-hate relationships. And because everyone’s goal is to spend less and less time on it over the years because nobody really wants to be on their phone thinking that everything and everyone interesting is not where they currently are.
But I am so grateful for the internet and social media. It allowed me the opportunity to learn everything possible on my own over the years. To find knowledge, podcasts, books, rabbit holes, research, everything. Things, ideas, concepts I could never have been exposed to by my parents, my schooling, or my physical communities.
It allowed me to find me, on my own terms.
It allowed me to find other people that shared ideas, values, dreams, and plans for alternate ways of life. Although internet friends aren’t the end goal or always the most fulfilling, the mere knowing that there are other people out there who feel what you feel, is an undeniable comfort. That presence, even on the internet, is beyond helpful to staying sane.
The network is here, and for now, physically scattered, but spiritually close.
Sometimes I feel that symptoms and messages in the body aren’t telling you you’re doing something wrong, but they are subtly pulling you towards what’s next for you.
A cue for your next level.
What has served you beautifully until now may not be but what works for what’s next. Maybe what’s next requires something different. Neither has to be viewed as right or wrong, just different times require different things. Different versions of you require different inputs.
Those inputs can be your environment, food, routines, relationships, community, work, movement, hobbies, or any part of the way you live.
This is why you can’t rely on copying a few inputs that work for other people. Their inputs were designed around their body, their environment, their season, and their current version of themselves. You have to find the combination of inputs that serves your current unique season, or the one that’s calling for you next.
The willingness to change and experiment with your inputs is a skill you must cultivate.
This is why it’s important to just listen to what your own body is saying and not grip to external dogma, trends, or have your mind attached to stories (or studies).
I’m not sure we can ever optimize our health. That implies our body and life is static and stays the same forever. That once we find the perfect diet, routine, protocol, we can now automate the inputs forever. We now don’t need to be in constant conversation with our body. We now don’t need to listen or change ever again.
But that goes against the laws of nature. Change is the only constant. The body is always changing, life is always changing, you must be willing to listen and adapt.
By the time you think you optimized, life might be calling for a new season, a new adventure, a new responsibility, Which may require changed inputs to thrive in that experience.
Are you holding yourself back by clinging to strategies that served an older version of you?
The path is more enjoyable when you let it be dynamic.
Reminder! Women run different chemistry every single day of the month!
Maybe try again in 5-7 business days!
I really do want men to know how to use a gun as well as they know how to use a tripod.
I thoroughly enjoy never knowing the date. I always know the month. I usually know what day of the week it is based on vibes. But never the exact date.
Keep your corporate calendars away from me.
“That’s not realistic” has driven me to make a lot of things realistic.
Please keep it coming, it’s a game for me at this point.
You won’t beat this mindset and optimism 😇😇😇😇

You will always find me at $1 oyster happy hours. I am happy. And I will be even happier when I make my own ceramic oyster plate.

Literally tried to set up tiktok shop and shattered my daylight computer during the KYC process.
Evil.
Masks on the beach in July, people are crushing it
So many people think financial freedom means “not wanting to work” because they’ve never thought about what they actually want to create.
To not do things based on what I think they can give me, but to do things because the doing of them gives me everything already.
