My feed's been rough lately. Lots of people calling Bitcoin captured or done, and some talking up Monero like the ship already sailed. So I went back through the year to see if they had a point. The crash, Strategy selling, the CLARITY vote stalling, the Fed hike, all of it. What stopped me was a Bitwise report. This spring they interviewed fifteen large institutions, the kind that run pensions and endowments, while crypto was down about half from the top. Not one had cut its crypto allocation, and several had added. That didn't match the mood on here, so I kept pulling the thread and wrote it up.
