Some days posting here feels like nobody's listening. You write something you actually care about and it gets two reactions and a 21 sat zap from the few people who zaps everything.
That's what early looks like, though. The people who kept stacking through 2022 weren't getting applause either, and most of their friends figured they'd lost it. The devs building clients here are shipping updates to a few thousand users and doing it anyway, because they think this matters. It does.
No algorithm is paying anybody here to keep posting. If you're still showing up, it's because you believe in it. I'd rather build with a few thousand people like that than perform for a million who'd leave the day the feed changes.
So keep posting, and zap accounts when they say something good. That's how most of us got found in the first place.
So apparently RSVP'ing back to a wedding invite “maybe next time” isn't the correct response
THERE'S NO REASON TO TAILGATE ME WHEN IM DOING 50 IN A 35.
AND THOSE FLASHING LIGHTS ON TOP OF YOUR CAR LOOK RIDICULOUS.
Nostr gave me an Npub nobody can take away. The people on it gave me a reason to open it every morning.

HAVE YOU EVER LOOKED AT SOMEONE AND THOUGHT…
"YEP.... YOU HAVE A PERSON LOCKED IN YOUR BASEMENT."
Men, listen up: Strength is forged in the fire of struggle. Real power comes from discipline, honor, and relentless grit.
Own your flaws. Face your fears. Take control of your life like a true leader.
No excuses. No shortcuts. Rise with purpose, build your legacy, and never back down.
You ever get turned off by someone's mindset. Like damn, you really think that small? That limited? No depth, no love, nothing beyond your own little view. That kind of thinking is hard to unsee once you notice it.
Sovereignty doesn't mean nothing influences us.
It means influence no longer becomes authority without our participation.
If we don't inspire, motivate or support one another, we have no business being in contact.
I like low key people. People that don't worry what car you drive or what clothes you wear. People that don't live to impress, people that enjoy small moments and appreciate little gestures. Simple people. Easy going people.Content people. Those are my kinda people.
Somewhere along the way we swallowed two bad ideas. One says if I disagree with how you live, I must be afraid of you or hate you. The other says if I love you, I have to sign off on everything you believe and do.
Neither one survives contact with real life. Anybody with a brother already knows this. You can hold your convictions and still treat people with genuine care, and people have been doing both at once for as long as there have been families.
The meme only works if you never open the book.
Lobster falls under the ceremonial law. Food rules set Israel apart from the nations until Christ fulfilled them. Jesus declared all foods clean in Mark 7, and Peter got the sheet full of animals in Acts 10. Nobody in a biblical church is losing sleep over a lobster roll.
Rape carried the death penalty in Deuteronomy 22. The man dies and the woman is declared innocent. That's a harder line than any American court is allowed to draw.
Slavery gets similar treatment. Kidnapping a man and selling him was a capital crime in Exodus 21. Paul lists slave traders right alongside murderers in 1 Timothy. A runaway slave was not to be handed back to his master. And the Bible records plenty of broken things it never endorses. David took another man's wife, and God sent a prophet to his door about it.
The Canaanite conquest is the heavy one and it deserves a straight answer. God gave those nations four hundred years before judgment came, and later sent Israel into exile under the same standard. That was a judge ruling on a specific people at a specific time. No king or army gets to borrow that authority for his own war.
Then there's the part your meme skips. You call genocide evil and I agree with you. But in a universe of matter bumping into matter, where does "evil" come from? You're standing on a moral floor while trying to rip it out.
Happy to go verse by verse on any of these. #ToChristAlone

DIGITAL ID
First, they'll say you need it to work.
Then what's next?
Needed to travel
Needed to shop
Needed to access healthcare
Needed to drive
Needed to go online
Needed to vote
Needed to exist in society
And once Digital ID is in place, It won't stop there. It becomes the gateway to the CARBON CREDIT SYSTEM, where every purchase, every trip, every choice is tracked. You'll only be able to spend within your assigned allowance.
Freedom replaced by rations, Choice replaced by compliance,
THIS ISN'T PROGRESS.
IT'S CONTROL. fck em
A situation can be so small, but the principle behind it can decide how the next hundred situations go.
I can't stand when people ask what you do for a living just to figure out how much respect you get.
Title goes in, a number comes out, and the whole conversation runs on that setting. Ask me what I'm reading instead. You'd actually find out who you're talking to.
Keep building Nostr

I've realized that some people are addicted to chaos. They'll sabotage anything peaceful.
Create problems where there are none. Start fights for no reason. Because drama is all they know. Peace makes them uncomfortable so they destroy it. CREATE MORE PEACE.
