You ever tried helping somebody and realized they like their problems?
I think it’s because they didn't want help, they wanted an audience

I have a lot of respect for genuine people.
They might not be perfect, but at least they're not pretending to be.
Shoutout to people whose genuiness isn't a strategy but a way of life.

In an age of information, ignorance is a choice.
Most people aren’t choosing it out of laziness either. They’re choosing it because knowing things is uncomfortable and picking a side is expensive. Easier to stay foggy and call it balanced.
This is why we did the work to get here.
0% of me is competing with you.
Competition assumes scarcity. Nostr isn’t scarce, it’s additive. Every relay you run makes the network harder to kill. Every note I write adds signal that didn’t exist before. Your contribution doesn’t subtract from mine, it multiplies it.
This is what a positive sum system looks like from the inside. No zero sum instinct applies here. We’re not dividing a fixed pie, we’re building infrastructure that gets stronger the more hands touch it.
That’s the whole bet this network is making on human coordination.
You will inspire some and trigger others.
Both are necessary.

Basic human decency
This generation is trying to normalize a lot of things that shouldn’t be normalized.
Not because they’re new. Because nobody wants to be the one who says no.
Every generation has its list. What’s different now is the speed. An idea gets floated on a Monday morning and by Friday it’s a hill people will lose friends over.
Normal used to mean tested by time. Now it means tested by algorithm. Whatever gets the most engagement wins the argument, whether or not it’s true or good for anybody.
You don’t have to go along with it. Say the unfashionable thing. Someone else in the room is thinking it too.
Your closest relationships shape your future. Spend more time with people who inspire you, challenge you to grow, and make you better.
This place has more people who’ll actually argue with your ideas than agree with them for free.
Who in your follows list has changed how you think this year? Tag them. Let’s build the list.
No. I'm not a coffee addict. I'm a caffeine based life form and as such, I must honor the ways of my people.
