@ODELL and @Derek Ross going back to X and the predictable funeral started. Slow down. A platform is just reach. A way for your voice to land where it otherwise wouldn’t, in front of people who have never once heard the thing you understand. Not everyone has one. The men who do are holding something the rest of us aren’t, and what they build with it matters more than which building they stand in to do it. The purists keep stepping over something obvious. The people who still need orange pilling are not here. You don’t reach the lost by preaching louder to the saved. If you can teach this clearly and you actually care whether a stranger gets free, you go where the strangers are. But caution ahead! These guys know the platform is a drug. Engineered and toxic on purpose. It pays in outrage and rewires how you think while you sit there certain you’re the one using it. Plenty of good men walked in to teach and walked out captured, indistinguishable from the thing they went to fight. So the rule holds. I’ve stopped reacting to the noise. The despair, the gloating, the fresh face learning that markets move in two directions. None of it changes the work in front of me. Bitcoin moves the way life moves, and a man who expects a straight line was never paying attention. The discipline is low time preference, and it is exactly as boring as it sounds. You hold. You build. You let the years do what the years do. The man who masters his own clock stops fearing everyone else’s. For those here now, and those who arrive later: this is a good place, and we are still near the beginning of it.

I wake up grateful for another day and excited to always come back to Nostr to see all you crazies.
