Nothing keeps humans engaged like tribal warfare. Red team vs blue team. My side vs your side. In group vs out group. This is prehistoric software running in your brain, and they’ve figured out exactly how to exploit it at scale. Every time you see content designed to make you think “those people are the problem,” ask yourself, who benefits from me thinking this way? What am I NOT paying attention to while I’m busy being mad at my neighbors? The real enemy isn’t the person who disagrees with you about politics or vaccines or money. The real enemy is the system that profits from keeping you divided.

All day long. This isn’t conspiracy theory. This is documented in Facebook’s own internal research. Angry people scroll more. MKUltra tortured dozens in basement labs. Social media manipulates billions daily. In their pockets. With their consent. Same manipulation. Different branding. Your brain doesn’t care whether the thing hacking it is a CIA chemist with LSD or an algorithm with your behavioral data. Either way, your emotions are being controlled by someone else for their benefit. This is why we Nostr.

The needs aren’t the enemy. Being human isn’t the enemy. The enemy is unconsciousness. Manipulators win when you don’t know your own wiring. You win when you do. Not by becoming immune to being human, but by choosing what you respond to. By seeing the difference between someone offering real value and someone just mashing your buttons for their benefit.
