Tor Browser ended OS "spoofing" The new update stops lying that your operating system was Windows, when it's really Linux. Ultimately to sum up their move in a single sentence, They are trying to avoid bots hazing users for clearweb use, at the expense of no-JS darknet buyers. IF you had Javascript ENABLED, then websites could have figured it out before. So this is NOT a big change. Because as I've been shouting from the rooftops, user-agent spoofing doesn't fool sophisticated scripts.
