So tired. Been coding nonstop for a week. Switching off of content and back to engineering has always been super taxing mentally. But it looks like I’ll reach 7500 followers on IG and releasing a nice little game for my app hopefully this week. image

Bitcoin will probably go back up once markets have confidence that Coinbase and large banks can come to an agreement on the CLARITY Act.

I have been writing a critique of radical postmodernism’s dependence of intellectual convenience a lot lately. There’s somewhat of a natural self-hatred that many Mexican-Americans experience when it comes to their American identity, largely caused by the post 9/11 world. This explains why they almost always blame the US for anything that happens in Mexico. Thoughtlessly. As I’m finding, it’s just intellectually convenient and easy to do. Look at me, I’m aware. I’ve read a thing or two in my day. Let me inform you. But what causes that allergic reaction to inconvenience? Perhaps the idea of Mexico being sovereign and responsible for its state? Here’s an example: Mexico is violent because of US arms. Surely, if you eradicated US arms from this world and manufactured arms in Mexico instead, what would happen?

Looks like the roads in Jalisco are shut down and power will be cut in a few hours. Honestly… great use case for bitchat

The fundamental core of MAGA is ultimately to be anti-fun. Their pathology is internally frustrated by “outsiders” celebrating achievements and experiencing joy within a realm they believe they fundamentally own. Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show reveals a key truth - the best way to resist this kind of cultural rejection is just to have fun, to stay cool and to stay winning. No need to take the bait and argue with people that want you as miserable as they are.

Disappointing how creating content is unusable without expeditious use of the block button because people are so eager to project venemous levels of misery & hate. There is this lower level of consciousness that comes with participating in spaces that are designed for lower intent behavior. There’s often little space to work hard for positive outcomes because it’s so much easier to just give into the incentive to polarize and to not resist the temptation of perpetual mediocrity & rage rather than to encourage people to make small but meaningful differences regardless of background or identity. The former is not what community building is; it is what seeking attention is.

The world is wonderful. Life is beautiful. People are great. There is so much to explore and learn. You have no enemies. This is a truth that many will try hard to convince you is a lie. It is important to reject those constant and eager attempts.

Radical postmodernism, a philosophical movement that proceeded the civil rights era, took roughly 50 years to reach its peak where it enjoyed roughly 10 years as the dominant perspective of Americans, but it is steadily in its decline and a lot of people will struggle with a future where essentially antagonizing white and European Americans with impunity will be unpopular. It was valuable with respects to increasing the overall conscientiousness of Americans, but Americans largely reject it in favor of modernist thinking which achieved things like the separation of church & state, the abolition of chattel slavery, the civil rights and significant scientific advancement. In this regression, there’s a real threat that pre-modernist thinking can creep up and arise with things like Christian Nationalism and that sort of thing, which is why it’s important for those who subscribed to postmodernism to adapt accordingly. The failure of postmodernists is that it eventually decayed into belief structures that inevitably lead to acquiring an anti-American and an arguably racist worldview. We, and they, often weaponized grievances of history, revised history and misunderstood much of it as a result. Yet, it achieved the ability to think about increasingly complex problems with regard to climate change, social well-being and the surveillance state. Either way, the next 5-10 years will be sort of lost and aimless, where a lack of consensus in worldviews will be guaranteed and consequences undetermined. Recommendation algorithms are the big threat here, since they are designed for reaction, producing polarization and echo chambers that remove us from the perspective of others. It cannot be overstated how important it will be to turn the TV off.
