I launched my apps as mini apps on Base but honestly the base app feels really overstimulating. I think there’s something there with the accelerated amount of prediction market degeneracy though. Perhaps if algorithmic feeds increasingly make low-intent followings worth less, the value of a creator profile could be the next replacement of it. Who knows. Either way, a mini app network between major nostr clients would be pretty cool.

Just curious, does anyone else have balance syncing issues with NIP-60 and NIP-61? I created some temporary workarounds but it would be strange how I'd have 10 sats, spend 1 and end up with 19, then 0. #asknostr

Keep in mind my target audience is largely very non technical users, so the NIP-60/61 wallet doesn’t include a lot of details you may see in more traditional nostr wallets. The design of it is to reduce friction and confusion as much as possible and for it to “just work”

Kinda crazy. Shakespeare.diy one shot a NIP-60 & NIP-61 wallet on an existing project with an older version of nostr-wallet following 1 hook and 1 component rules to create it. Genuinely amazing work @Ditto by Soapbox @Alex Gleason @Derek Ross . This feels like a huge deal to me.

Drug addiction is such an unfortunate thing. People often suggest you ought to be kind to addicts but the deeper wisdom is that addicts ought to take responsibility over how terrible they can be to other people. It’s rather jarring to have to engage with addicts and their proclivity to try to tear others in order to maintain their status quo of mediocrity.
