Quick little update to

16 Hours - Lock In & Focus

I’ve added a small social accountability feature on 16hours. You can easily create teams and add members by adding their npubs and inviting them to teams. This adds some social accountability to a simply tool where you can share your goals, scores and progress together.

It is kinda funny that unauthorized migration from Mexico is rooted in the post-revolution land reforms of the1930. Mexican peasants were given land but were poor, so they left to the US in an attempt to finance it. Eventually this led to labor shortages in Mexico and a booming large scale agribusiness in the US, so the Mexican government began to pressure the US to deport or repatriate Mexicans, leading to the infamous Operation Wetback that many revisionist liberals today point to to validate their claims of eternal White Supremacy. This irony is somewhat cruel and persists today. The Mexican government actively welcomes Mexicans to return while American businesses secretly love the practice.

It’s kind of interesting the national identity of Mexico is less than 100 years old. After the revolution against Spanish elites and their system of debt slavery, Mexicans installed land reforms in the 1930s, allowing poor peasants to own their country. Naturally, the US and Mexico collaborated with guest worker programs so that Mexicans can finance their new lands until American liberals in the 60s fought against migrants in favor of unionized work, creating the system of illegal immigration that we know today. Nearly 100 years later, my very family is finally planting some seeds and growing avocados here after a few decades of both documented and undocumented labor.

One of the most painful things about bootstrapping is that you have to build and sell at the same time. You don't really have the luxury of building for fun and iterating on ideas that may or may not work. It's build and get rejected 300 times, score a sale or two, and repeat. Very depressing.

Fuck it, I’m gonna work on a super tutor with AI. Something that can teach or tutor anything better than any person can today.
