I find it somewhat interesting how Bitcoin and Satoshi resemble Christianity. You could say Satoshi "died for our sins" by disappearing and left the rest of the mission to disciples. You could say some disciples are people like Ross, Saylor and Jack, and perhaps one day there will emerge a traitor too.

I feel like the Like button shouldn’t exist on nostr. Coming from TikTok, a drugged out version of social media, I mostly see nostr as a rehab of social media. It makes me question why the Like button exists. The Like button was designed for advertisers. We have a competitor to the like button here and we ought to flex that. The Like button is a time-sink designed to optimize reactions and superficially uncommitted engagement. I feel like zaps shouldn’t be considered “super likes” but the default action. Content that gets created is valued at maximum authenticity and it incentivizes creativity and real interaction between individuals and communities.

Feel like rebranding "followers" to "connections" or something like that would be a healthy thing for the internet. "Followers" implied a kind of awkward hierarchical relationship, mostly meant for advertisers and personal brands.

Im working on a nostr based personal assistant app. Im wondering what people would people find helpful when it comes to regular activities they do daily, weekly or monthly. Technical nostrification suggestions are also welcome too
