I don't care what you think of me, only how you came to think it.

Money exists to represent value. People complain all the time about inflation lowering the value of their money, but maybe they don't deserve it. Many valuable things such as fruit spoil over time. Why should money be any different?

Being a neuroscientist is really embarassing. Imagine spending every moment of your life living inside your own head, hearing all your thoughts and STILL not knowing how everything fits together.

Man, I'm so desensitized to people suffering that I don't even feel anything while watching my enemies suffer. At this point I need my enemies to experience poetic justice or to suffer an ironic fate just for me to get off anymore.

I love porn, and making porn art is an enriching activity. I just can't wait until it's enriching enough to justify prioritizing above all the stuff I'm doing right now.

You discover a wish-granting genie, but he says he has a limitation. He won't grant anything that one could get with more time, and he won't grant anything that could get one more time. What do you wish for?

Christians say that humans are made in the image of God and that Jesus is always present and speaking with you if only you choose to listen. But those very same people will insist that atheists have no moral compass aside from copying the culture around them, and that the good deeds of an atheist are fundamentally different than the good deeds of a Christian. Yes, yes, I know; credit must be given to the glory of God or one isn't getting into the kingdom of heaven. But don't you think you could give God more direct credit for atheists' good actions? Isn't it possible that when atheists claim a compulsion to do good it's because they are in some way hearing the very same "voice of God," even if they don't acknowledge it as such? Never mind, I'm sorry. I apologize for my ridiculous and heretical suggestion.

@verita84 Hey I know that we disagree on a lot of things and that I think you are stupid, but I want you to know that I'm glad you are back. I hope your client brings a lot of normies to Nostr.

My parents never spanked me when I was a kid. They didn't believe in corporal punishment. Instead, whenever I misbehaved, my dad would beat my mother.

Hey @Vitor Pamplona I'm using the latest version of Amethyst and the client is loading videos and images even though I set it to never do that in the application UI preferences. It's currently displaying a blurred out preview. Is there a way to prevent it from doing that? Also, is there a way to prevent my client from loading banners and emoji packs too? I've encountered very NSFW emojis and banners and I would love to be able to disable image and video downloading entirely.

There was a lady who wanted to make some right-angled triangle cookies. She knew what she wanted one of the side lengths to be, and she knew what she wanted one of the other angles to be, but she still needed to calculate what the lengths of the other two sides needed to be. Luckily she went to culinary school, so all she had to do was remember what they taught her in Trigom-nom-nom-etry class.
