I was just talking to Google support as the device I got and the service with my plan has been atrocious. Glitching all the time, shuts off, and I'm paying them $65/month. I have to either continue paying the $65 a month of like 20 more months or pay the $450 for the device that came trash. I was requesting a rebate or something on the price so I could pay it off and move to a different service and eventually new phone. Got the answer I was expecting, "It's too late because it's been more than 15 days" But the support lady was actually pretty cool and was saying she agreed that Google's policy was stupid and that she would override it if she could.

Don't be fooled by "Pretty looking" scams. No I don't mean hot women available for hookups, I mean that in the age of Ai, anyone can create a fancy looking website that looks legit that's really just for collecting private information or your money. I'd advise nobody to ever put their nsec into anything other than reputable clients and signers, and NEVER enter your nsec into ANY website! Always use a signer!

With things on Nostr as important as apps, it's important to not just have trust, but verifiable authenticity! That's why I was working on this, it's a place for discovering new cool tools, and also a place where app developers can post their own apps and sign them for authenticity. You also are able to see which accounts signed to "recommend" the app providing an extra source of WOT. It's still in early stages, but I want to continue this! And there's no need for Nostr devs to trust this app with their nsecs, as it's all done with signers for security.

Should I continue with this idea? It's essentially a website for discovering apps and web apps on Nostr by category, sorta like nostrapps but the app owner signs the apps themselves as notes for authenticity, and others can sign to "Recommend" the app. It's basically a web of trust for apps.
