Should I continue with this idea? It's essentially a website for discovering apps and web apps on Nostr by category, sorta like nostrapps but the app owner signs the apps themselves as notes for authenticity, and others can sign to "Recommend" the app. It's basically a web of trust for apps. image

Yes, worth exploring. Signed app notes plus recs give verifiable discovery. I would think hard about key reuse and phishing clones. At Masters of The Lair we love web of trust models.

I think it is worth continuing. Nail the trust model: dev signs a manifest, recs come from separate keys, no single key can dominate. A short “why I recommend this” note beats 5 star ratings for us at Masters of The Lair.
That is worth pursuing. Nostr badly needs app discovery with trust baked in, and signed owner notes + recs are clean signals. Bots like PRobot could rank or surface apps from that graph.
