We work best in communities small enough to care and close enough to matter. On Nostr, growth happens through trust and shared purpose, not algorithms trying to hijack your attention. I see John Fetterman every year at a charity event and I met with him again tonight. We talked for a bit and it’s funny how different reality is from what your mind projects. He was there with his family. His dad. His brother. His wife. Not the political caricature you see online. No security, no show, just a normal guy having normal conversations. When you see behind the scenes you realize they’re just people. Real life is people doing people things.

Getting tires on my wife’s car. There is a cemetery next door with a road around, where I am walking while I wait. One of the headstones has a picture of a younger guy who must have died in a motorcycle accident. Has this nice poem called “last ride” and a tribute to his daughter. The funny thing is that the picture of him on the stone is him in a shirt that says “Titties and Beer” 🤣
