Confession time… 😅 When I first joined, I thought BCHNostr was just another website. I had no idea it was connected to the broader Nostr network, where different apps all share the same protocol. So technically, we’re not just talking to BCH users. Our posts can also reach people using other Nostr clients. Pretty cool discovery. I guess that explains why some Bitcoin maxis were wondering where all the BCH posts suddenly came from. 😂

For everyone using iOS, check out Damus on the App Store. 🍏 It’s a Nostr client, which means you can use the same Nostr account and keys across different apps—not just BCHNostr. Since it’s built on the Nostr protocol, your identity and followers aren’t tied to a single platform. (Damus) One thing I like is that it lets you discover a much wider Nostr community. You can connect with people outside the BCH ecosystem, share your BCHNostr posts, and hopefully introduce more users to BCH along the way. More eyes on your content, more conversations, and more opportunities to grow the BCH community.

I was about to sleep, but this caught my attention. Honestly, I’m a little upset 😑. You can criticize content quality, but turning it into a stereotype about an entire nationality is not the way. Every growing community has rough edges and that doesn’t give anyone the excuse to look down on the people contributing to it. Bad, hmp!

Since last year, I’ve been trying to stick to a no food after 6 PM routine, and surprisingly, I’ve gotten used to it. Of course, there are cheat days… and tonight is one of them. 😅 I guess it doesn’t count too much since it’s just a salad. 😂 If you ever eat at Nono’s, their Signature Salad is definitely worth trying. Anyway, work’s finally done. Time to unwind, enjoy my late-night snack, and catch up on BCHNostr.

I just found out I still have some BCH sitting in my GCash GCrypto wallet, so I figured I’d move it to Paytaca. Sounds simple, right? Well… I’ve already had some unsuccessful transfer attempts. 😅 I tried again today, but this time I didn’t even receive the OTP via SMS or email, so the transaction couldn’t even get started. A bit frustrating, to be honest. Crypto is supposed to make moving your own funds easier, not harder. Has anyone else experienced this with GCrypto recently? Were you able to fix it, or is it just one of those “try again later” situations?

Throwback to my Cebu trip a few months ago. For someone who doesn’t even know how to swim, I somehow ended up swimming with the whale sharks in Oslob. 😉 Seeing them up close was both terrifying and breathtaking. They’re massive, yet so calm and graceful. Definitely one of the best travel experiences I’ve had so far. Still can’t believe I actually did that. 🥽

Now I’m starting to wonder if I’m already late to the party. 😅 I don’t know if it’s still a good time to jump in or if I should just accept that I might miss this CashToken wave. FOMO is one expensive emotion in crypto. 😂

Have you noticed this when viewing posts with multiple photos? 👀 Just sharing a small UI suggestion based on my experience 😊 When viewing posts with multiple photo attachments, I noticed that the current layout makes the post quite long since the photos are stacked vertically. It would be nice if the images could be displayed in a carousel format where users can swipe left and right, making it easier to browse and giving the post a cleaner look. Loving the improvements so far — just a small idea that could make the experience even smoother! 💚

Remember when SmartBCH and the DEXes were at their peak? That was probably the peak of my crypto journey too. Seeing these old tokens in my MetaMask brings back a bit of nostalgia. 😅 If only those values were real, I’d be a very happy person right now. 😂 Unfortunately, MetaMask can’t really reflect the reality anymore. Most SmartBCH tokens have little to no value today. Liquidity dried up long ago, and many of the DEXes where these tokens were traded are no longer active. I still have some SBCH sitting in my wallet, but there’s not much I can do with it. The bridges aren’t as accessible as they used to be, and with the current value, bridging through BNB Chain would probably cost more in gas fees than it’s worth. So for now, these tokens stay in my wallet as a reminder of a different era. Still, I think the spirit of experimentation never really left BCH. These days, CashTokens seem to have taken that spot. It’s still early, but the potential is there, and it’ll be interesting to see what builders create with it over the next few years. Good memories, and hopefully more good things ahead. 🚀

It’s already past midnight, and I just finished watching Signal. Such a good watch, I must say. If you’re into crime thrillers, murder mysteries, and a bit of suspense, this one’s definitely worth checking out. The funny thing is, I can’t handle movies where a dog, cat, or any animal dies in the end. 😅 But true crime series with serial killers, murder cases, and all sorts of dark stories? Somehow, those are my comfort watch. Maybe I’m the odd one here. 😂

The older I get, the more I appreciate simple things. A good book. A hot cup of coffee. A peaceful morning. That’s wealth too. ☕📖
