GM! To all the ETH maxis saying they will flip BTC next year, you’re doing great kings! Keep killing it!

GM! Any other Americans start having online shopping purchases sent via a new shipping company called UniUni? Have had two recent purchases shipped by them and they are fucking terrible.
The number of people hawking Kaspa on Twitter = fuckloads, on Nostr it’s almost zero. There’s some signal.
GM! Democracy dies without privacy. The reason we have private voting is because otherwise your vote can be bribed, coerced, etc. Privacy is a fundamental requirement of a free and democratic society. Without it we might as well resign ourselves to totalitarianism.
GM! The UK is a great indicator of where democracies could end up in the near future if they aren’t vigilant about defending individual rights and rejecting a Chinese style surveillance panopticon. There is no freedom without both privacy and the ability to actually use your freedom.
GM! The story of a family getting scammed out of 7.4 BTC is a tragic but powerful lesson. IMHO these are the key takeaways:
1) NEVER put your seed phrase into a phone or a computer. Only put a seed phrase into a reputable hardware wallet whose firmware you’ve verified.
2) never immediately YOLO your whole stack into a new wallet or app. Take your time, test, and verify. Delay and time are always the enemy of scammers. Feeling urgency is a common indicator of a scam.
3) mainstream app stores are constantly full of fraudulent apps and probably always will be. You must make the extra effort to verify which app is authentic. Personally I only do large transactions on desktop because verification is much easier on a big screen with full keyboard and mouse.
4) if you’ve accumulated multiple coins, consider Anchorwatch by @Rob Hamilton for a portion of your stack that you couldn’t live without and pony up for the insurance and peace of mind.
5) attend your local BitDevs or meet ups and develop a local network who can help you out
6) there is no mobile sparrow app, and fake ones pop up all the time. Sparrow is desktop only
I have mixed feelings on zerohedge but this is fucking fire, great to see normies waking up

My experience with Nostr commerce:
@SoapMiner @Next ₿lock Coffee and @Softer Skin | Tallow Based Skincare have awesome products and ship quickly, but I’ve had two merchants just ghost me - Accepted payment and never sent the items I purchased. Disappointing.
GM! ETH ETFs had over half a billion in flows in the last week. I wonder what’s driving that? Maybe the time honored trend of chasing after BTC when you feel like you “missed” it?
GM! For those of us who enjoy the big city amenities and have to commute to in office fiat jobs, I think the way forward is to live in the most based (solely relatively speaking) suburb you can find nearby. Almost all major cities in the US are in some degree of decline in public safety, health, and infrastructure. This feels like the best compromise for now.
Open to suggestions but I just don’t think the citadel ideal is realistic for most of us who got into BTC relatively recently and still have fiat jobs and families unless remote work makes a huge comeback.
GM! AI generated fakes usually have enough flaws that if you pause and look closely you can notice them, such as here the logo is gibberish. But soon they will be impossible to visually distinguish and shit is going to get weird. Default assume sensational things are fake until proven otherwise is the mindset I’m trying to adopt.
