My family still lives off the land and sea. The fishery provides the largest part of the local diet and the community thrives with the boom of the market. A full freezer is necessary to make it through the winter.

Out bootin’ around with my Dad today. I’m immensely grateful to be sharing the places that mean the most to me with someone who means even more.
It’s been a serene afternoon.
Check out this mama Rock Ptarmigan and her chicks at the top of the mountain. 🐤 they are naturally camouflaged, and not to be crowded, but you can see them as they move about!
Gladly listened to Oathbringer on my hike today - this line got me:
“Sometimes a hypocrite is nothing more than a man in the process of changing."
I’m thankful for those who had patience with me during periods of high growth. Offer the same to yours.
Today’s hike took my breathe away. It was also incredibly beautiful.
