10km deep, the trail was completely overcome by a stream whose natural path is blocked by debris. We picked our way through and along the water, till the next major change in elevation.

Every time I go to a town I haven’t been to before I ask locals where their best trail is. Most of them are maintained by local keepers. I can only imagine trail donations would benefit immensely from a payable QR code. 🤔
