Then we’re still told the grand solution to big government and runaway spending is simply “tax the wealthy more”.
It’s adorable, right?

Q Manivannan, a non-binary PhD student (identifies as ‘they/them’), will earn £77,711 a year despite not having a permanent visa to live in the UK. The self-described "queer Tamil immigrant" won the Edinburgh & Lothians East Holyrood seat on Friday (May 8) and reportedly told colleagues his victory would help buy him time to save up for a global talent visa which costs £5,047. The student was allowed to stand after the Scottish Government relaxed legislation to allow non-UK citizens to represent the nation.
