Insane that anyone inside Bitcoin would even entertain such ideas. This is sacred ground. The entire foundation rests on the principle: 21 million and not one more. It cannot deflect! There is no debate around it, because if it fails, it is the end. People say OP_RETURN is a small change. And yes — it is small… at the surface. Leaning Tower of Pisa — at the ground level, the tilt is barely visible. But go a few floors up, and the deviation becomes massive. Same with large ships: a 1-degree deviation in course seems harmless — until you realize you’re hundreds of miles off track days later. In Bitcoin, seemingly small technical compromises — tend to grow into systemic problems over time. Taproot. That’s why “small changes” deserve serious scrutiny. They often define the trajectory of the whole system.
