I don’t want to talk about this anymore, but let’s call what happened what it was. An execution. And executions are political and justifiable by some because of that weight. It communicates “We don’t allow this here”. Kirk’s political ideas have been argued before and whether you like or not, were once even culturally defeated. Freedom of speech means we will have to reargue the some points over and over again, yes. Freedom is not an intuitive concept as we’d like it to be.
