I didn't think I would enjoy real estate photography as much as I am. I cut my teeth on Airbnb's back in 2019-2020 and I did a few listing shoots back then as well. I figured it was something I had done in the past and that I would want to try something new, but I'm really enjoying this process. Three months ago, I started working as a real estate photographer. I used to be independent years ago, but I needed the job this time and so I started honing my craft. I got my done license, and so I've been able to do that "legally". I forgot how much fun piloting a drone can be. At first I was slow and a full shoot would take me 3-4 hours including the iGuide, drone, photos and video. Now I've got it down to a science and I'm actually leaving this job shortly. Turns out they have no interest paying a competitive wage and $19 an hour just doesn’t cut it in Canada at the moment. All of this is to say, I'm going back to doing independent work. Now that I have the exact playbook, I'm better off on my own. That's my update for today. #photography #canon #dji #photostr

I just finished vibe coding my first python project. It's a fully automated photo distribution, invoicing and payment system. Everything comes through in a branded email with a download link and basic instructions on zip folders (realtors are not all techy.) Photos are delivered in a zip folder with timestamp. Itemized invoice is generated with branding and attached to email. Payment link is through stripe. The whole system organizes the files nicely and keeps things neat. This is amazing. I didn't even mean to start this process, it just progressed after some minor messing around. This changes everything for me. #vibecoding #totalaccident #happyaccidents
