are "NOTIFY" relay messages a thing now? how is this different than "NOTICE"?

the year is 2025 and people still use .mov to share video content on the internet. This means they are uploading directly from their iPhone with probably little to no optimization at all. I blame this on the current media servers that allow direct upload and serve the file as is. Sure, the option to actually serve the original file is good but for the health of the ecosystem (and if they wish to actually scale), it would be better to perform some actions to the file and serve an optimized version instead. These files tend to be much higher quality than needed and cost a lot of wasted bandwidth and have much less compatibility. maybe we need NIPs with specific video encoding format

nip-61 question: upon redeeming a nutzap (9321), is it best to append the proofs p2pk-locked to the wallet (3/7375) or is it better to swap them to new non-locked ones? #asknostr #nip61

my nip-60 integration in alphaama is coming along nicely. I can already create and import wallets, mint and melt proofs. still work in progress but I'm amazed all of this is already possible with no friction at all. now going to work on adding P2PK with nip-61, if anyone wants to send some nutzap my way for science it would be helpful for testing. happy new year 🤘
