Scaling up my eBay listings. For the past month instead of cherry picking various high value Pokemon cards to list I’ve organized all my cards by theirs sets, alphabetized them, and began sorting them by quality (near mint, played, and damaged).
After that I use a sharpie to put a primitive sku on their penny sleeve (plastic protective sleeve) like NM1, NM2, P1, P2, D1 etc to make sure when one sells I go to the second Abra in the near mint section for example.
Today I took photos of the sleeved card, the raw front, and raw back, of each near mint base set card. Now I have 156 photos to organize in folders and then I will list all 52 cards. If I have planned this correctly it will take an hour or two to do so. I’ll be going from 1-10 cards listed a day to possible hundreds, just because of organizing and planning. Hoping it works. I don’t know how else to scale up.
Also documenting everything as I go and writing guides of sorts so that if I can get enough income to justify it I can hire others to help and use the documentation for training and reference.
Additionally I sent a message to an old friend who has shared office space for rent, and while all the offices are currently occupied when one comes available I could get one for $400 a month, and I’m kind of excited to work towards that as a milestone. Something about having a place to do work and knowing what work to do and when is good for me. Anyways. That’s what I’ve been messing with recently.
