I often hear people ask how to get others to understand Bitcoin—and why so many dismiss it. What I’ve found works best is connecting it to their personal experiences. I prefer to leave breadcrumbs rather than an unsolicited knowledge dump. Just like DCA often outperforms lump sums, gradual understanding beats overwhelming someone upfront.
Keep it simple and consistent: stack sats, connect facts, and lead by example.
We shouldn’t overlook that most of us in Bitcoin have had a long, interconnected journey that kept us grounded in the idea of better money.
Mine started with the 2008 financial crisis, student debt obligations, close friends and family buried in credit card debt, and the realization that very few people I know have any financial literacy. Unfortunately, that’s far too common.
