I downloaded two apps from the App Store, and both of them made me engage with the app for ~5 minutes, only to put me in a position of either do a 7 day free trying or subscribe to the app. For $8/month, no free version to use. I can literally vibecode both apps over the weekend. This whole industry will be disrupted.
