“To escape criticism: do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.” Elbert Hubbard
If the words you use align with reality, they set you free. If the words you use don't align with reality, they enslave you.
It's interesting what happens to my thoughts when I blow up my goals to be way, way, way bigger than usual. Then my thinking adjusts to, "Well, what do I need to change to make that goal happen?" Having my son back is like someone pouring water into my heart.
I no longer miss my son, because we are no longer separated. June 23rd, 2026
I saw an Amber Alert. The child was kidnapped by his parents. I went, "Oh, it's his parents." And went on with my day.
Looking at the political right, I think they are more interested in having things to complain about than actually improving anything.
One of the greatest levels of intelligence is making the distinction between what works and doesn't work. It requires loving reality as it is.
