recalled vaguely upon waking, my dream while asleep in the dawn. a grocery store, i think, or a big bakery, i was looking at pastries like big fluffy breads mixed with chocolate swirls.
that's all i can remember

this take is wrong
on many many many many levels
and it is actually pretty important to highlight why
during the emo scene, coming out of the punk scene, emo/screamo/hardcore etc, wearing your girlfriend's tight jeans, no one was centering pretty privilege and wellness. there was no idea that to not achieve your "maxx" is to be sick or insecure in some way or masochistic or in need of a life coach

well you dont need a drink minimum or tickets when the comedy club is across the street from the studio
it is called the attic
it is above the gay bar
we, me and my two studio mates, can hear any show from our balcony

Laila Al-Arian is the executive producer of Al Jazeera's Fault Lines documentary series.
Target Tehran, released today, looks at the devastating effects of Israel's war last summer on Iranian civilians.
This video, a scene from Al-Alrian's Target Tehran, stars Thom Tillis, an American businessman and politician of the Republican Party serving since 2015 as a United States senator from North Carolina.
In 2013, Tillis supported a motorcycle safety bill that had been surreptitiously amended to include restrictions on abortion.
Tillis has received criticism from animal protection groups for cosponsoring the Ending Agricultural Trade Suppression (EATS) Act, which would limit the ability of states to regulate the sale of meat from animals raised on farms that do not meet animal welfare standards.
In a 2011 speech, Tillis said, "What we have to do is find a way to divide and conquer the people who are on assistance" by getting people who "had no choice" but to receive public assistance "to look down at these people who choose to get into a condition that makes them dependent on the government."
In 2014, Tillis opposed increasing the federal minimum wage, and declined to comment on increasing North Carolina's minimum wage from $7.25 an hour after opposing the idea in 2010. He suggested the government should not set a minimum wage at all, calling it an "artificial threshold" that "drives up costs" and could reduce jobs.
In 2015, Tillis illustrated his attitude towards regulation by saying coffee-shop companies should be able to "opt out" of hand-washing regulations "as long as they post a sign that says, 'We don't require our employees to wash their hands after leaving the restroom.' The market will take care of that."
In January 2018, Tillis was one of 36 Republican senators to sign a letter to Trump requesting he preserve the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
On June 29, 2025, Tillis announced that he would not seek reelection to a third term in 2026.
