Happy birthday to the Bitcoin legend Hal Finney! I’m sure he would be amazed at how far it’s come… or perhaps it’s just as he expected. In times of disagreement and confusion amongst Bitcoiners I often think how OGs like Hal might help guide us with sage advice if they were still around today. Thanks for paving the way. Your contributions to humanity won’t be left out of the history books.

Quoted on Bitcoin by the great Odell
The American government can print 10,000 sheets of money per hour at each mint. When you equate that money to time, it’s roughly 36 people’s entire life’s work printed per hour. From another perspective, your entire life is worth 1 minute and 40 seconds to the government. You trade your entire life for 1 minute and 40 seconds of their money printing. Do you see the problem now?
I present to you the guy who wants to load up your node with useless data and remove the hard 21M limit on Bitcoin. Use his own words to build a representation of his character, of who he really is. I ask you, who is Bitcoin’s greatest enemy? The federal reserve? The banks? I ask you then, who controls those entities? Would they send enemies to infiltrate and push malicious upgrades? I don’t know, I’m no Alex Jones… but my gut says don’t trust genocidal war mongers.

Is this #bitcoin meme true?

I’m not good at reading charts but this seems bullish. #bitcoin

Humanity has one chance at this Bitcoin thing, let’s not fuck it up.

How early are we?
Perspective: I joined Bitcoin in 2021. If there were merely 5 million people stacking at the same rate as me, we would have acquired more than all the bitcoin that has and ever will exist. My point, obviously adoption rate is significantly lower than 1-2% (80-160 million people).
America’s largest gold reserve is safely hidden under its soil. Good luck trying to take that. Bitcoin on the other hand is truly scarce and up for grabs to all of America’s enemies. The play is simple. You can always dig up shiny rocks later. This is geopolitics 101.
Bitcoin turns waste energy into money. Greed turns altruistic.

This is how I really feel about #bitcoin

I forgot I named this account #bitcoin #meme treasury… I owe you guys some memes

They really scrubbed these comments by Vitalik Buterin completely from the internet. There used to be a few news articles about it but now the only thing I can find is a 7 year old reddit thread. Never forget.

Bitcoiners: “We need more Bitcoin adoption!”
Also Bitcoiners: “No, not like that! Only the people I want to adopt it and they better use it how I want them to use it!”

Just bought a little bitcoin on payday. Feels good.
Today Bitcoin miners are earning over double what the entire block reward will be in just 8 halvings, from transaction fees alone! It’s all about perspective. #bitcoin #bitcoinmining
“What do you mean you are on #Nostr and don’t miss Twitter at all?” 💀

High fees on the #bitcoin network are an intended mechanism of the design. If someone is selling you fear and uncertainty about who will mine the next bitcoin block, or fear and uncertainty about how your transaction will never make it into a block… they are either being disingenuous or they don’t understand Adam Smith’s concept of the invisible hand. The free market will decide the price to transact, not the FED.
